Domel’s KC
KC had her first litter in the spring of 2014 with Bear. She was fast, quick to pick up on scents, and although quiet; was very affectionate. She was an excellent mother and steadfast friend. KC passed away in April of 2023. She was a great sheep dog for our flock and a beloved member of our family. She is missed and has left us with many great memories. Her (and Bear’s) son, Hank, along with Sadie, will be in charge of producing puppies now.
Domel’s Magnum
Maggie is our original dam. She was the mother of KC and Ditto. She loved to play fetch and was an excellent retriever. She was snuggly, quiet, but very playful. She passed away in 2018 at 14.5 years old.
Domel’s Theodore
Ted was our original stud. He passed away in October of 2013. He was almost 13 years old. He was fearless, bold, and an excellent hunter.
Domel’s Doctor Ditto
Ditto has sired one litter, which resulted in 13 pups (not one of our girls). He works hard to please, takes direction well, and is very sociable. We often see him “smile”. He passed away April 28th, 2015.
Domel’s Jackson Brown
Jack was from Bear and KC’s 2017 litter. He was outgoing, loving, had an energetic personality and a high bird drive. He was always enthusiastic. He was to be our next stud after Bear was retired, but unfortunately was in an accident with a delivery truck in September of 2020.
Brakkenwood’s Br’er Bear
Bear is our daughter’s dog, and lives in Farmington. He learns quickly, and excels at obedience. He loves to fetch and works as a team with his partner, Scout (spayed sister of KC). Bear retrieves and Scout is the flushing dog of the pair. Bear is protective, comical, and a wonderful companion. Bear has been retired and neutered and is enjoying his older years as Sarah’s foot-warmer, best friend, and stealer of his human siblings toys and clothing.
